How To Get Qualified Leads For Real Estate Agents

Qualified leads are the bedrock of a marketing funnel and getting leads is the first step in enticing new potential customers into your world. But how exactly do real estate agents go about doing this in a modern world where social media dominates, and print news is a relic of the past? One popular way that works is to advertise to people on Facebook. Surely you have heard of this, but how do you go about doing it?



1. Use quality, captivating images and videos


The first impression of anything (even ads) is always with your eyes. Similarly, no one wants to download a plain Word document. Just because the piece is free, it shouldn’t be cheap. An easy way is to use what you already have on hand from the developer, and just edit it to suit your needs. On social media, the attention you get is worth its weight in gold, so you don’t want to settle for less than perfect. Run the ads



2. Start Running Your Ads


The simple way to go about it is to first create an account with Facebook Ads Manager. From there you can start creating an ad through Facebook's Ads Manager, this is where your design team’s work gets put to use. You should always choose an objective and choose your audience. Before creating the ad, you will need to set your ad budget. Once your ad is running, you will need to monitor your ad's performance metrics using Facebook’s own reporting tools. This may sound oversimplified, so you might want to consider consulting with a professional or joining a course.



3. Qualify Your Leads


Now that you have the leads, you need to convert them but before you can convert them, you need to first qualify your leads into the ones that can be converted and the ones that are probably a waste of your time. To a large extent this can be filtered out in your ad settings by showing it to the right person, but it’s not always 100% effective. Talk to them a little. See if the offerings you have can meet their needs. Most importantly, try and get them into a meeting. A physical meeting is always best to help you sell a piece of property because the buyer or renter can view the property in person and visualize using it daily.


A Facebook leads funnel is a great tool for generating qualified leads if used right. Providing relevant and valuable content to potential customers will prevent you from wasting time on approaches that won’t have an impact and maximize efficiency as you develop a successful strategy.
